Male Facial Hair Waxing and Grooming
About this course: Master the latest trend in male grooming techniques on this practical course. Offer your male clients the ultimate finish to their haircut. You will be guided by an expert barbering educator through these highly profitable, fast and effective treatments that will grow your client base and boost earnings. Working in partnership with Salon System & RefectoCil to bring you the latest and most up to date products and techniques
You will complete your theory in your own time and pace via an online learning portal. Your practical will be completed face to face with an educator.
Your training will cover:
Beard Shaping (if models are suitable)
Beard Colouring using RefectoCil
Facial hair waxing (brows, temples upper cheeks, nostrils and ears)
Facial Threading (upper cheek)
What is needed for your training: Please bring along your working scissors you are comfortable using combs, dryer, and basic styling kit as well as 1 x electronic devices (ipad/laptop & smartphone) fully charged with data to be able to access your online portal to get your E-Certificate. All other products and equipment are supplied for the duration of the course by your educator.
Is a model required: Yes - 1 Live model (male aged 18+) will be required per learner at 13:00. Models should have facial hair, be skin tested for beard/ brow tinting and able to have hair removal performed on the Nostrils, Brows, Temples, Upper Cheeks and Ears using a combination of techniques.
Requirements: Hairdressing qualifications of NVQ Level 2 in hairdressing, barbering or beauty therapy or have at least 2 years commercial experience in at least one of those areas.
Timings: 10am to 3pm
Course investment: £135 + vat refundable deposit on attendance (terms and conditions apply)
