What are your opening hours?

Our general store opening hours are 08:45 - 17:00 Monday - Thursday, 08:45 - 16:00 Friday.

How do I purchase items from the site?

To purchase items you first need to sign in. If you do not have and Alan Howard trade account you can apply here.

Once signed in, navigate to the products you wish to buy using the main navigation menu or using the search box. When you have found the product(s) you wish to buy, simply click the add to bag button when on the product details page or use the quick add button in the category view.

Once you have finished shopping, you can view all of your items in your shopping bag and proceed to checkout.

What is Klarna?

Klarna is one our new payment options offering; pay in 3 and pay later options. You can read the full Klarna FAQ's here.

How can I track my order?

Please email info@alanhoward.co.uk quoting your order reference number and we can send your tracking information. The best way to keep track of your parcel is by providing us with a mobile number when you register. We can then link this with your parcel and you will receive SMS updates.

Why can I not order certain items?

We have restrictions on some of our products, which means we cannot ship them all over the UK.

Why are my free items not showing in my basket?

When an offer include a free product discount, the most popular free item will automatically be added to your bag, this can be changed when viewing your items in your bag.

When an offer is a multibuy discount, you must add the all of the eligible products and our system will automatically allocate the cheapest item free.

Why is my order for furniture, not next day delivery?

We cannot usually ship items of furniture out with our courier. We have a specialised team who deliver our furniture to most areas of the UK.

Can I place an online order over the phone?

Unfortunately, we do not take online orders over the phone. However, your local Alan Howard store will be happy to take your phone order.
