Biscuit Blonde: The Trend Your Clients Will Be Asking For In 2026
Published date 02 July 2026

We’ve all heard of Butter Blonde and how it's the summer’s ‘it’ girl blonde shade, but what about the clients who are looking to tone down their blonde for the summer? And don’t fret! This blonde trend is just as stunning; it just has a more lived-in luxury element to it. Introducing Biscuit Blonde, a beautifully balanced blonde that sits somewhere between beige and caramel, creating the most natural-looking finish. It’s super luxurious but not overdone, and it's the perfect choice for clients who want to either brighten their brunette hair without going too blonde or tone down their buttery, bright blonde. So, if your clients are asking for hair that looks healthy and expensive, Biscuit Blonde deserves a mention.
What is Biscuit Blonde?

When creating Biscuit Blonde in the salon, it’s all about creating balance. You want just the right amount of creamy golden warmth and cool beige tones to create a soft, multi-dimensional blonde that is super flattering. Rather than chasing the bright, high-maintenance blonde, this trend embraces the subtle contrast. A deeper, natural-looking root melt is key for this look, as it melts seamlessly into the ribbons of warmth and neutral blonde. This creates the illusion of naturally sun-kissed hair with a glossy, reflective finish, which is perfect for summer. It’s a part of the trending ‘quiet luxury’ hair shades that are super wearable while still looking expensive.
How To Create Biscuit Blonde with Quif Professional
Working alongside Quif Professional Educator, Sara Simpson, we created this Biscuit Blonde transformation on a model with bright blonde hair who wanted to soften her colour without losing brightness around the face and throughout. The aim was to create a more natural, lived-in blonde with dimension and a lower-maintenance grow-out.
Focus on seamless dimension
Sara emphasises the importance of creating dimension within the hair to keep the Biscuit Blonde looking expensive and seamless. Working in quadrants, Sara starts at the back by placing fine baby lights behind each ear before transitioning into traditional weaves through the back sections. As you move towards the crown, introduce backcombing to soften the blend and avoid harsh lines of regrowth. Sara takes the Quif Magi:light+ Lightener in Silver Tone to achieve the cleanest lift while considering the client's hair health.
Around the front hairline, keep the sections fine to maximise brightness where your clients will notice it most. Continue through the top with a combination of babylights, traditional weaves and backcombing to create the effortless and diffused finish that Biscuit Blonde is all about.
Create the perfect Biscuit Blonde tone
To create the perfect biscuity tone, Sara used Quif Magi:gloss in 8:13 and 6:0 in equal parts. Mix together and apply the gloss between the foils. Start at the back by colouring the roots before blending through the hair left between each foil. Around the face frame, tap the root only to preserve brightness. Leave to develop for 20 minutes before rinsing!
The Finished Look

And there you have the perfect Biscuit Blonde! The result is a soft blonde that feels glossy and naturally expensive, with the subtle blend of highlights and lowlights that creates effortless movement throughout the hair. The slightly deeper root delivers a seamless grow-out clients will be thankful for! It’s wearable enough for everyday clients, but polished enough to feel like the most luxurious colour service.
