Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations
Alan Howard aims always to provide high-quality Goods that are fault-free and undamaged. On occasion, however, goods may need to be returned. Returns are accepted up to 30 days after the original purchase date. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange your return, including the order number and the reason for the return.
If you would like to return Goods to us for any of the reasons below, please contact us using the form at the bottom of this page.
Your order number needs to be written on the paperwork you send back with the goods so that we can process your return efficiently. We recommend you use a form of recorded delivery and that goods are securely packaged and insured as Alan Howard cannot accept any responsibility for lost or damaged goods being returned.
If you’re unable to send goods back to us, you can request that we arrange a collection (at our discretion) however the cost of this may be deducted from any refund due. Collections usually cost £15+VAT but please note you may need to pay in advance.
Returning web orders that are no longer required is accepted, goods must be returned to Alan Howard Ltd within seven days of receipt. Goods can only be returned for this reason when unused, in perfect condition and in their original packaging. The Purchaser is responsible for paying shipment costs if Goods are returned for this reason. Furniture and equipment orders may be subject to additional conditions; please see below for details.
Due to health and safety regulations, we cannot accept returns (subject to our discretion) of the following products:
- Any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Nail products including: lacquer, gel systems and acrylic systems
- Hair brushes, extensions & accessories
- Body jewellery/Piercing tools
- Foot Spas
This list is not exhaustive; your statutory rights are not affected.
Please note returns can take between 7-10 days to be processed and a refund issued.
Damaged, incorrectly delivered or missing goods
Alan Howard takes great care to ensure all the products you receive are correct and undamaged. However, in rare cases where incorrect/damaged goods are received or goods listed on the delivery note are missing please inform us within 48 hours of delivery (using the form below).
Alan Howard will investigate the issue and contact you with the next steps. Please note photos are required for damaged items.
Upon receipt of any returned Goods, the price of the Goods, as paid, will be refunded through the payment method used when the Goods were purchased.
If any Goods purchased have faults when delivered; the Purchaser should contact Alan Howard within 28 days to arrange collection and return. Alan Howard Ltd is not responsible for paying shipment costs. Goods must be returned in their original condition with all packaging and documentation. Upon receipt of the returned Goods, the price of the Goods, as paid, will be refunded through the payment method used when the Goods were purchased.
If any Goods develop faults within their warranty period, the Purchaser is entitled to a repair or replacement under the terms of that warranty.
Furniture and equipment items
For any furniture and equipment items that are built to order or custom made; these items are subject to the following additional terms of cancellation or return:
Furniture and equipment orders cannot be cancelled more than five working days after being placed, we may accept the cancellation or return of orders outside of this time scale at our discretion and may be subject to a charge of up to 20% of the value of the goods as well as the delivery charge.
