Blonde Edit 2026: The Trending Blonde Hair Shades of 2026

Published date 27 April 2026

Back to article listing

Want to know how you can recreate 2026’s trendiest blonde shades?

In 2026, we’re here to say goodbye to high-maintenance, platinum tones and welcome luxurious, lived-in warmth, which is shaping the trends of 2026. We’re entering a new era of blondes that feel dimensional and wearable, with creamy finishes and colour that looks expensive. What more could your clients want?

Blonde is becoming more wearable than ever, thanks to innovative techniques and creative toning formulations that give the client that bespoke, soft finish, which only keeps the client coming back every time. Let’s dive into the trending blonde shades of 2026, and how you can recreate them in your salon…

Crème Brûlée Blonde

Get to know the sweetest hair shade making its way to your salon, and it’s shaping up to be one of the trendiest blonde shades of 2026. Crème Brûlée blonde is a warm and glossy blonde that blends buttery tones with soft gold and subtle caramel undertones to create a rich, sun-kissed finish. It’s a fresh, glowy and luxurious shade that adds just enough warmth to the hair. Basically, it’s the perfect shade for blondes wanting to go a little more golden, without being too warm. It will pair perfectly with a balayage and face-framing highlights for that glossy, glazed finish. We like to think of it as your client’s post-holiday blonde, just without the holiday!

How To Create The Look

Creamy Pearlescent Blonde

2026 really is the new 2016! Soft pastel tones are quietly making their way into blonding services in 2026, and we couldn’t be more obsessed. Creamy Pearlescent Blonde adds subtle whispers of soft colour to the client's blonde hair for that stunning iridescent finish that is super wearable. We’re seeing pastels such as soft lilacs, blush pinks and pearly tones that shimmer as soon as they hit the light. This works perfectly when creating peekaboo panels, glosses and soft overlays. Have you seen anything more stunning?

How To Create The Look

For the subtle pastel effects, dilute your Quif Blast Creative Colour with white conditioner for a soft wash of colour. Or, try this with Quint:essential:

  • Pre-tone pre-lightened hair using CT-2, followed by:
  • Clear + TDC
  • Clear + TDP
  • Clear + TDV
  • Clear + TDB

Mix ratio (3:1)

When using Magi:colour use:

  • 10.0 (30ml) + 77.26 (7ml) for a soft violet-red finish

Or using Magi:gloss, use:

  • 9.62
  • P-63 Rose Gold
  • P-02 Pastel Lavender

Butterscotch Blonde

We’ve already noticed that warm blondes aren’t going anywhere; they’re only getting richer. Butterscotch Blonde sits perfectly between golden blonde and soft caramel. This creates that warm, multi-dimensional finish that feels glossy and expensive. It’s ideal for softer brunettes who want to go a little lighter, without fully committing to being super bright. So, if your clients want to add richness back into their hair, Butterscotch Blonde is definitely the one.

How To Create The Look

Magi:gloss:

  • 8.03 & 9.04 (2:1)

Quint:essential:

  • 9.3 + 8.4 (2:1)

Magi:colour:

  • 9.03 + 8.34 (2:1)

Champagne Blonde

Still going strong in 2026? Champagne Blonde, and we’re not surprised! This soft, luminous blonde blends seamlessly with golden and pearlescent tones for a creamy, reflective finish. It’s super flattering to a wide range of skin tones, and always feels glamorous. And if it’s good enough for Margot Robbie, it’s definitely good enough for us.

How To Create The Look

Magi:gloss:

  • 10:13 + 8:13 + 9:01 (equal parts)

Smoky Caramel Blonde

If your client loves warmth but still wants something slightly muted and sophisticated, Smoky Caramel Blonde is the perfect middle ground. Smoky Caramel Blonde blends warm caramel tones with cooler smoky undertones to create a low-contrast blonde that feels modern and incredibly luxurious. This is the kind of blonde that grows out seamlessly, meaning it’s perfect for clients who are after a low-maintenance look.

How To Create The Look

Magi:colour:

  • 8.2

Magi:gloss:

  • 7.2

Quint:essential:

  • 8.2

Buttery Blonde

Buttery Blonde is another shade that dominated 2025, and it’s back for summer 2026. It’s still a highly requested shade due to its super on-trend creamy brightness and glossy finish. It gives the brightness of platinum blonde without the cool, over-processed finish, which so many clients are steering away from. Instead, it feels soft and wearable, and one year later, we’re still obsessed!

How To Create The Look

Quint:essential:

  • 9:23
  • 10:13 + 10:3

Mixing with 1:1 with 1.5% developer
