A Deep Dive into Quif Trend:01 – Money Shot

Published date 13 July 2023

A striking blonde always hits hard.

Introducing “Money $hot”, featured as part of the Quif Trend:01 collection from The Quif Art Team. A picture perfect cut with invisible internal layering to give that extra volume with added babylights for a soft light face frame, this blonde bombshell will always be a winner.

The idea behind this balayage concept is to give clients that lived-in kind of look with accents of colour, which is perfect for someone who wants a change but doesn’t want to commit to an all over colour.

“Balayage is everywhere at the moment but it’s not always executed in a simplistic way” says Lee Blecher from the Quif Art Team. “This look is something that’s really simple to replicate in-salon, but very much an on-trend look.”

“We want to showcase how easy it is to customise balayage looks with the wide range of product choice under the Quif umbrella. From cream lighteners, melting and glossing and refining using demi and permanent colour lines” Lee adds.

“For me, I love how this concept looks natural and wearable but is customisable through wearing the parting to the side” says Lee. “I love the polished silhouette of the way this look is styled but is versatile if she wanted to wear it more tousled.”

But who is the ideal client for this look?

This look is perfect for any client but particularly for someone with straight hair that has movement.

Artist top tip: less is definitely more with a balayage as colourists put too much colour inside the hair which loses the dimension. Having dimension in a balayage makes your blonde look lighter and brighter.

Keep an eye out on the blog over the next few weeks for more deep dives into each look in the Quif Trend:01 collection!
